Actual intelligently designed humans: What magazine was it?

Asked by Spargett (5398points) September 8th, 2007

There was a magazine cover a few years back that showed what humans would actually look like if we were truly designed “intelligently”. The story was the cover story and it had an illustration of the oddest looking human ever.

I don’t remember exactly when or what magazine it was, and I’m dying to find it again so I can order an archive. It was one of the scientific publications (Scientific American, Discover, etc).

I think if anyone saw, or has it they would remember. Anyway, I hope someone remembers, thanks in advance!

Yup, I’ve always thought that the actual structure of humans and many other species prove Creation was a matter of art, not engineering or random chance by evolution. And the design of the scrotum, though serving a functional purpose, is proof God has a sense of humor.

Turns out it was the December 2002 copy of Popular Mechanics, titled “The Real Face of Jesus”. The study was conducted by the BBC in part with other experts and scientists.
