How do you perceive life?

Asked by mea05key (1822points) December 22nd, 2008

It is past 12am now and I am still busy enjoying my mid night life before the busy morning. I hate morning to be frank. Suddenly this thought pops out of no where and i thought i can share with some flutherers out there. Fluther.com seem to be a more realiable website to get witty responses.

I perceive life as an opportunity to make a difference to other people’s life although i have not really achieve that through my action. I dislike having a lot of attention from others and i prefer standing at the side and listening to conversation. I do pay attention to little details occassionally especially in my work but i found it to be unhealthy at times cause the nature ofmy job requires me to work at a fast pace. I do like to keep everything to myself except on certain occasion where i feel i can tell others my problem. I love reading, i am curious and i prefer to know the TRUTH rather than listening to BS to cover up something. I often get critisize for being too quiet and for not getting a LIFE because i spend too much time facing the computer and in my room. but i don’t seem to hate myself doing that.

What do you think about me? or what have you got to say about yourself?

That’s like six different questions, dude.

If you hate mornings to be frank, would you rather have them be untruthful?

I like these philosophical questions, but I am not sure I understand what you say and how you feel. It sounds to me that you are a thinker. I would like to call myself a thinker as well, but my problem is probably that I put my thoughts in to words, talking without knowing what I am saying. Most of the time I get it right since I am also quite verbal. I am not sure why I speak up all the time, but it could be that I like to know if I am right or not. If I don’t speak up, I wouldn’t know if I am right. I also would like to see myself as a bright and smart person and again and in order to see it I would need others to either recognize myself as one or tell me I am wrong.

But it varies, to be honest. I never speak up about myself, how I feel and about my problems and issues. I have never had someone to talk to, a friend to share my inner feelings and when it comes to this, I am a very closed person. However, a couple of years ago I hit the wall and totally broke down. After that I am seeing a therapist and I realized how important it is to dare to open up. We need to talk to people, we need to get confirmation and to be seen and recognized.

Well this is my two cents, but I still have no idea if it is an answer on your question :)

I see life through margarita colored glasses.

One big jumbled roller coaster ride. Ups, downs, and everything in between. Horrible and beautiful all at the same time. Worth the price of admission.

You’re an introspective person. So am I. That’s a good thing. You probably know yourself better than most people know themselves.

Still, you can’t retreat entirely into yourself. The world still exists, and you’re a part of it. Try finding a balance between yourself and the outside world.
