I have two roommates. The DirecTV bill is in my name. They don’t always pay their third of the bill on time. Will effect my credit score?

Be careful with them. They like to charge you late fees. We have to call them all the time. It happens alot where they mail us the bill and 3 days later we get a pass due notice. We don’t trust them enough to put them on automatic billing.
It can if the DirectTV account is in your name, and they report it. You can call and ask to have your billing date changed.
There’s something known as universal default. If you are late on utilities bills it could cause your credit card rates to go up, even if you pay the credit card on time.
You should go get your credit reports from the three credit bureaus. It’s free, as of a few years ago. See what marks are on your credit.
BTW, do not go to FreeCreditReport.com, as that is a business that wants you to subscribe to some BS "credit monitoring" service that you don't need. Just get your actually free credit reports (once a year from each of the three) at http://www.annualcreditreport.com.
What "shit" are you referring to? http://www.annualcreditreport.com is indeed free. If you think it wasn't, you went to the wrong site.
Way to respond to someone trying to help you out, by the way.
Uhhhh. No. I went to it, filled it out. Then it me to another site that said they wanted $7.95 to see my rating.
Credit RATING != Credit REPORT.
Your REPORT – which is the only thing you care about – is free. If you want to pay for your RATING or SCORE, that’s entirely up to you.
And I’m officially done trying to help you. Bye.
Thats okay you didn’t help me at all.
