If you have a minivan, what is it and do you like it?
I have been thinking about the future when my wife and I will have a family recently and was wondering what the best minivan out there is for a family? So what’s your opinion?

We have a Toyota Sienna (2004). It’s been a terrific minivan, and Toyota has stood by the product. A couple of things were fixed for free due to recalls. It’s roomy, drives well, is very safe, and is well made. But, it’s definitely a minivan. Nothing cool about it. Not that cool keeps kids safe, of course.
Like, suzyq, my family has a Toyota Sienna.
It’s extremely comfortable and it’s pretty good on gas, oh, and very safe *(side airbags!)
It’s the first car I drove when I started to drive 2 years ago, and I felt very safe and comfortable.
However, my one issue with it is SNOW. I’m from Upstate NY and I’m near a lake, so we get a lot of snow from lake effect, but man, this car isn’t very good in snow. It’s okay on ice though, in my experience, but not so good when it comes to driving directly through snow. It can get stuck.
Otherwise, it’s a nice car :)
2007 Chrysler Town and Country. love it the stowe-away seats are great! this is the third minivan the others were both Dodge Grand Caravans, also great. gets about 22 mpg. great in the snow with the front wheel drive and proper tires.
Thank you guys for the responses, they are really helpful. I was checking out the 2009 Sienna myself, always have liked Toyotas, but its good to get a wider range of opinions :).
I used to drive a white 94 Chevy Astro Minivan. It was the skate machine. I took out the back seat and had ramps and rails in it to skate. I would put the back seat in and me and my skater buddies took road trips in it all the time to different cities and skateparks. I wish I still had it.
I have an Odyssey….I think I lost my manhood when I bought it but it’s a pretty sweet ride….I miss my manhood though :-(
We have a 2003 Ford Windstar SEL and we love it.
Union made.
Chrysler Town and Country. I bought it used, and the thing is loaded. Heated seats and all! My only issue with it is the automatic doors. They are really only semi-automatic. That is, they open only when they feel like it. Prima donnas.
