I have three movies and an audio book on a flash drive that I want to put on my ipod. Can anyone tell me how to get them to my itunes?

Sometimes I have videos on my flash drive and I just drag them into iTunes and iTunes copies them. One time I had an iTunes-purchased video on my desktop that wasn’t in iTunes and I double clicked it and it copied to iTunes.

If the videos are .avi I don’t think you can’t put them on iTunes. I use iSquint to convert them.

I use “SUPER©” to convert my movies to be able to use on my ipod, when I found out about SUPER it’s been a good relationship.

It’s free, and does way more conversions than you’ll ever need!
simple GUI, just drag and drop, set it on the list to ‘iPod’ (now it says iPod/iPhone), encodes, well I should say the GUI isn’t all that simple, but if you take a look around for 5 minutes it’ll make sense.

oh did I mention it’s free? It’s called SUPER by eRight Software
I would get the download link but every time I go to that dumb website I get lost and can never find the stupid freakin link.

Like I said, it can convert plenty of things, I typically download videos from youtube and either save the video for my ipod or if the sound quality is good enough I’ll just extract the music from the video to an mp3 and save it that way.

Once done it saves it in its output folder and you can drag it right into your itunes.

I second SUPER! to do the job of conversions if the videos won’t go into iTunes ‘quietly’.

There’s also an option to import on the File menu, with which you can browse to your flash-drive.
