What websites do you consider to be "kid websites"?

Asked by mangeons (12288points) January 3rd, 2009

Some people might consider myspace a kid website, or youtube, or neopets, but some may not. Which websites do you think are “kid websites”?

God I hope only Neopets is acceptable for children in your list. Probably things like, Disney.com and the like. :)

Then there are some educational ones, museums, and galleries have kids sections or things like lissaexplains.com.

pbskids.com
neopets.com
miniclip.com (ok fine, I visit every once in a while!)
clubpenguin.com (I remember playing that when I was younger....I think 12 when it was popular for many ages)
etc…

Check out this link for some common kids sites (scroll waaaay down on the page….)

I also have the tool bar for www.stumbleupon.com
You can have it preselect kids sites….I have found some amazing kids sites this way…..literally dozens. If you are looking for a specific topic/area, let me know…..I might be able to give you a link for your specific interest:)

Okay, let me edit this question’s wording a little:

What qualities do you think are in a kid website, what do you think makes it a “kid website”?
