Resistance 2 Offline Co-Op Question?

Asked by Spargett (5398points) January 3rd, 2009

Can you save each player’s level-ups during a split-screen offline co-op?

My roommate just got Resistance 2 for PS3 and we’re playing a offline co-op campaign, and it only seems to save one of the player’s experience and level-ups.

Which means there’s no point in playing the campaign together if only one person’s work is saved.

That’s right. But there’s a rumor going around that a patch is being worked on so that if there is a second registered user for the ps3, you can log on as the second user. Rumor though so can say for sure.

That sucks. I can’t get why they don’t let you play a regular campaign in two player like the first Resistance. Or am I just missing how to do it right?

no, that’s right
