How many pages of "Questions You're Following" do you have?

Asked by queenzboulevard (2553points) January 6th, 2009

I was just deleting old questions that probably won’t get answered anymore and I had around 8 pages, so it made me curious as to how many every one else has.

I cleared mine 2 days ago because It was up to 500+ Qs and was too intimidating. So since then, I have 60 new right now, which is 7 pages. Why do you ask?

EmpressPixie's avatar

39 pages. I’ve only ever cleared it out once. And that was a while ago.

147 pages.

PnL: How in the world did you clear it? Did you click Stop Following 500+ times? Ooph.

jlm11f's avatar

@Nimis – you can click “Remove all” . It’s in bold, and on top of the Qs listed under Qs for you. You can also click this if you want to get rid of your Qs for you so far. Beware, once they are gone, they are gone forever.

@PnL Is there an easier way than deleting one Q at a time, waiting for the page to reload and then picking another…?

It is kind of tedious…..anything like clicking/checking multiple at the same time (like email). Deleting all of them is a bit too much….?>

PnL: Oh! I thought you’d cleared Questions you’re following.
But I didn’t know about the other option either. Handy! Thanks.

Hmm. That actually surprised me – I have 40 pages. I didn’t think I would have that many because I click “stop following” quite often.

After being away for awhile, I had to do Remove All on my questions. I also had to trim my Questions You Are Following. I did it the carpal-tunnel acquisition method, which is also an enormous time waster due to page refresh slowness.

I am now once again a lean, mean Flutherin’ machine.

Until it all clogs back up again—in a few days.

there should be an easier way to delete those old questions. currently, you have to do them one by one.

ooooooh sorry. I misread the Q. I thought you were asking about how many pages of “questions for you” i had. thus my blurb on how to delete them. I have 65 pages of Qs I am following.

@ snoopy – I am afraid there isn’t a easier way yet. I am still waiting on a “check box” method myself, for Qs and also for comments/PMs. Be sure to leave a feedback message for ben and andrew. The more people that ask for something, the more chances of a feature being given :)

@PnL done! :)

Exactly, 50.

I erase the stuff almost daily, so none.

60+ pages of questions I’m following. Surprised me too, because I ‘stop following’ quite a bit.

El_Cadejo's avatar

It was around 80 something last time i checked.

breedmitch's avatar

108 pages of Questions. The first question I “followed” was this. It’s still one of my favorites.

A warning: out of curiosity, I clicked on PnL’s link to clear “questions for you.” I thought it would take me to a page where I could erase them if I chose. But no, just clicking on the link erased all my questions for me.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m ok with it. I had 97, and the most recent question was from 2 months ago (I since have started checking that page every day). So it’s just as well. Thought I’d warn ya, if it’s not too late.

@TL – oooops. that’s what my “Beware” was supposed to cover. But I see now, I didn’t explicitly state that clicking on the link would remove all your Qs. Sorrryyyyy :(
