I feel like I’m about to throw them back up ( sorry to be so graphic ) I take a lot at once and sometimes food does it but mostly pills. Is that normal?it goes away after awhile but its uncomfortable

Describing the sensation of impending regurgitation is graphic?
Do you just swallow the pills or drink water too? Personally I can’t swallow pills without drinking water.
Just make sure you drink plenty of fluids when you take the pills.
This happens to me sometimes, too…and it hurts! Try taking them one or two at a time.
It takes around 200mls of water to get a single tablet to your stomach so that is an entire glass not just a mouthfull.
Also, take a swig or two before you take the pill.
Actually and now that I reread your question, it could be a sign of an esophageal(sp?) tract problem possibly due to acid reflux. It happened to a coworker of mine who had to go to the ER because her food got stuck stuck. I forget what the condition is called, but you may want to rule that out via your doc.
It also helps if you eat a little something right after you take the pill. My mom and I both have this problem sometimes, and if you eat a few crackers or a little bit of bread, it helps to push the pills the rest of the way down.
Kevbo’s right, though – check it out with your doctor too, to make sure it’s not a sign of a bigger problem – better safe than sorry…
thanks everyone. Well I’m swallowing literally about 10 vitamins at once. Lol maybe if I waited inbetween them a lil bit.
