Cleaning MP3 Collection?

So a friend of mine once told me about a website and/or program that would sort through all of one’s mp3s, and help to fill in the missing blanks in the ID3 tags..
I went to look for it lately, and have no idea what it is. Does anyone have any good info about which programs are good at filling in missing data? Also he’d mentioned that the tool he used even helped identify things like mis-spelled artist names, and could consolidate them into a single artist, and so forth.
Program/website suggestions anyone?

Check out TuneUp. It’s an iTunes plugin that does just what you’re asking for.
Ben. That looks amazing. Thank you!
I believe applications could use FreeDb for this, I used Entagged a long time ago.
@ Ben – you just made my night. talk about an awesome program. thanks!
Hey, @Ben. I’ve downloaded TuneUp, am ready to run it. Anything I should know or do before I push the button? Tips? Tricks?
Gabe Adiv here, CEO of TuneUp. Saw a bunch of action in Google Analytics from Fluther and came here to see this! Let me know if any of you have any questions. Plug-ins for Winamp and WMP coming soon as well.
I just bought TuneUp. Works awesome!
@Perchik – for a moment I thought you acquired the company TuneUp…
@juanepstein1000 Just wanted to let you know that TuneUp Rocks! :) Thanks again!
@ben and @Perchik
I’m using TuneUp in demo mode right now, and it is by far the best in terms of accuracy and finding the right cover art. Thanks for this tip.
One question though, do you think it’s a tad bit annoying the way it floats around docked to iTunes? Seems like iTunes now takes twice as long to launch. Does that disappear when I buy the full version?
Thx
