I can’t make it past 3 hours.
I’m done at around 4—adrenaline just stops flowing… but I’ve sat for almost 6, and don’t think I’ll ever do it again.
I sat for 8 hours once. I’d never do it again but I had to catch a plane the next day. It was either get it done or fly back later and get it done. Since then when I travel to see my artist, I only sit for 3–4 hours at a time. I’m not trying to impress anyone, the older I get the more it hurts.
About 3 1/2 hours. Hint: to keep your adrenaline pumping eat sugar.
is thankful that the long sessions include lots of chatting and laughing by my artist
i sat for 3 &1/2 hrs on my largest tattoo the first time i went. the artist said that my pores had expanded and that made my skin push the ink back out so i had to come back a month later and sit for another 2 hrs.
