Good. Tattoos have long been seen in a negative light, so these shows help to show how mainstream it has become, and also highlight the artistic side of tattoos. I never thought I’d ever say any reality show was good for anything.
Good for the fact that it makes it better understood to the mainstream, bad for the fact that it makes it more common and produces a lot of shitty tattoos. Tramp stamp, anyone?ugh.
I agree. I think it’s been good. I believe you really understand the art behind the ink. The tattooists are artists, and I think these shows help people realize this.
Tattoo reality TV is probably as good for tattoo culture and art as Reality TV is for culture and art.
