Is there a way to use a universal remote with the xbox 360?

Asked by andrew (16562points) September 21st, 2007

I was able to use a different vendor code (Hitachi or something) with my old xbox, but I haven’t been able to find a similar code online for the 360.

mirza, I’m well aware of the microsoft universal remote. I’m talking about using my existing universal remote with the 360—for which I need the equivalent vendor code.

And yes, I’ve googled for it, thank you very much.

if you want to invest in a new remote, logitech makes a universal remote that ‘contols everything’ and has specific buttons for the 360 as well. It’s a bit pricey though :-)
