Dry them after use. Someone (I forget who) did a test, and increased the lifespan by a factor of 2 or 3.

You can put them in a pyramid, some people say. I don’t know if I believe it, because I’ve never tried it, but it sounds interesting.

No one has ever successfully proven pyramid power. And no offense, laureth, but for the scientifically inclined it is yet another hoax in line with numerology, astrology, crystal powers, spoon bending by mind powers and what not. Utterly ridiculous :-)

Keep them in their original container unopened. They should last a good long time.

A cup of Vodka.

A blade sharpener….

@Jbor – which is the reason I put that disclaimer around it. I’m scientifically inclined, myself.

I’ve read that the “dulling” is actually more akin to scaling from mineral deposit or rust, so dry as suggested above and maybe even coat with an oil. They sell a $20 “sharpener” at places like Walgreens now.

be careful to not use them too long. My friend got a crazy skin problem that the doctors couldn’t figure out. Turned out it was from the razor.

Never realized it, but the “Pyramid” angle might just do it. ‘Cause a neighbor tapes his spent double edge blades to his faithful pet Pharaoh. He says Pharaoh makes pyramids all about the house.
