It’s a family wonder of ours. If you look at photos of when my family were younger (my dad etc) you can find them ALL in the picture. (My dad is the one on the left with the weird hat, a vest and a beard)
Proof

The first painting that ever captivated me, I think I was three.

The Starry Night or the one I’m also in love with Starry Night over the Rhone.

The school of athens by Raphael. If you go here you can see the names of all the people in the painting.

First, it is one of my all time favorite classic styles.

Second, it is one of my all time favorite painters.

Finally, I love the idea of combining all forms of study.

I would turn it into a table for my rompass room.

@Bri_L lurve for rompass.

I’d steal one of my own, and go to the press to drive up hype for my work.

@SoapChef – Thanks!

Misspelled it though. Finally found it. Rumpus. I could not find that in the dictionary!

SoapChef's avatar

@Bri_L Here I thought you were doing a clever riff on rumpus. romp-ass! I still lurve you. :0)

We are alike you and I.

I thought it was more like ROM-pass, like maybe they’d turned the room into a Wii hacker’s dream. Like maybe some hackers got together and passed ROMs like one might pass a dooby…
That would be groovy.

Well, fuel’s pretty expensive these days, so I’d steal a Monet to buy Degas to make my Van Gogh.

I’d steal something from the gallery of Alaagy, an artist who paints beautiful colors with beautiful messages. And then I’d put it up in my house and eventually get arrested.

Something by Alphons Mucha. Possibly his stained glass window from the St. Vitus cathedral in the Prague Castle. But possibly something else.

asmonet's avatar

I didn’t even think about statues, I’d take this lovely little girl.

Can I steal a whole building or two? There’s a couple I really like designed by Frank Gehry in Bilbao, Spain and Los Angeles.

@aprilsimnel: According to the other question “what is considered art?”, you can steal anything
