I have an older Wharfdale speaker that has lost its clarity. All the wires appear to be connected properly. Is there anything I should check or look for to improve the sound of the speaker?

I assume you’ve checked all the other equipment and tried different cables and receiver. Have you taken the speaker apart and checked the wiring inside? I don’t know what to look for except for obvious corrosion or connections that might be breaking.
