One of the fav was when i was little, i was in Elementary school and i got a valentine that said “I have a crush on you”. It drove me nuts cause i didnt find out who it was until later. And of course i had a crush on her too. Even the dang teacher knew and wouldnt tell me.
Hate to say it never worked out with her, we dated twice, once during HS and the other after. Just becamse different people after Elementary School. Go figure lol
Fire escape sex on VD in 1981. Hot.
Sex and wings. Need I say more?
Cooking for a girl I REALLY liked but couldn’t have :(
Oh hang on, I don’t know why I read that completely wrong…
I really am tired.
My bf throwing down $150 bucks on dinner and drinks at my favorite restaurant. Holy cow, it was so good.
My first Valentine’s with the man that I am now married to – we had so much fun. We didn’t go out, we both hate the thought of overly crowded restaurants, we cooked together, laughed together. We got to know each other, more. We exchanged gifts – but we had only been dating for about a month, so neither of us knew what to get each other. I remembered that he wanted a new MagLite Flashlight for his truck, so I got him a red one – yes…red for Valentine’s Day. HE noticed that I didn’t have a flashlight in my car…guess what he bought me. (it bothered him that I had a child and no flashlight in the car – I did, but he didn’t know it was there.) We both cracked up – we gave each other the same thing.
We talked, drank wine and laughed. It was a great night. We are now married, he’s raising my daughter with me and we have a son, together. We’re very happy.
Skipping out on a movie to have a final romp….
I’ve never had a good valentine’s day :-(
After the night of dinner, a walk along the riverfront, and a comedian we retired to our hotel room. The best part of that whole night was the 3 little black girls that were pounding on the door yelling, “Daddy! Let us in! We know you’re in there!”
I finally had to call the front desk. After I got dressed and stuck my head out the door telling them they had the wrong room, they decided to keep knocking asking if they could come in for a while.
This went on for a good couple hours. Made for a great memory though.
Last year. I got a hand drawn card that was ridiculously awesome. There was a little image of me walking along and it said “I’m falling for you.” Then, inside, there was a little him splattered across little me and a little blood pool leaking from both of us that formed a heart.
It sounds morbid, but it was really ridiculously cute. And appropriate since we’d only been dating two months at that point, so grandiose declarations of love were kind of out.
Either that or the previous year which was me, my good friend, cheap champagne, and the Charlie Brown Valentine’s Day special.
The boy I’ve been admiring for months
gave me candy and a teddy bear.
My gosh! Now, that, filled me up!
