What time does iTunes update the store for new release Tuesday?

Considering that it is now Wednesday, and there is no iTunes update… the “word on the street” that you heard was wrong. When I hear that Apple uses the word “late” or “later” I expect it means the end of whatever time period the refer to.

For example, they said the iPhone would be released in late June, and it came out the next to last day of the month. They said the iTunes update would be later this week, so I expect it no sooner than Thursday.
