Does one's avatar impact how you receive that person's tone?

Sometimes…I can sense a tone from the text someone puts out for an answer…but sometimes no tone is really given. The avatar will at times give me an idea about who this person is…whether he/she is serious, childish, old, young, and so on. And also will sometimes give me some sort of idea on tone.

Or does one’s avatar have no impact on how you perceive the answer they’re giving you?
