What do they do, and where did you get them?

Panos’ web site has some cool free actions, as well as those he sells.
Hmm…. hadn’t thought to check on Deviant – thanks!
Deviant has an amazingly huge supply of brushes and tutorials! :D Glad I could help
Action Central That’s where I found my midnight actions and ethereal actions.
Oh man! I love Photoshop! Why didn’t I see this before? lol
I most lurve…the ability to change blend modes; I think hard burn is one of the coolest effects. This can be done by double-clicking a layer or the right-hand side and changing the setting or clicking under the “layer” tab in the layer window.
I also love supersaturating images (as is obvious with my avatar) and playing around with colors. But, oh man, you can do so much when you double right-click a layer (on the right-hand side)!!! Adding shadows, embossing, adding overlays…You should check it out if you already haven’t.
Oh, wait…I don’t know what you mean by “free” actions. I have a registered version. :/

I should get shot for that answer, lol. Ignore me. Ignore me! >>sobs<<
LOL! They mean “Actions” Presets that you can get for free that you install into PhotoShop.
yeah, I figured that out too late, lol. Where’s that freakin’ edit button when you really need it, huh?
I’m a fan of Greater Than Gatsby’s Free Photoshop Actions lately. They’re a nice collection of different actions and are a great place to start if you’re just starting with Photoshop or Photoshop actions.
