What is your favorite 80s song?
Probably asked before but eh. I am just making an 80s playlist and wanted to hear what some of your favorite songs were! So far I got some petshop boys on there, madonna, dead or alive, billy idol and falco.

Anything by Twisted Sister.
asmonet, YES. Also Revenge of Vera Gemini.
Omit Heart & Joan Jett. Also skip Prince & Wham. And please, no Elton John.
First one that came to mind is “Shipbuilding” by Elvis Costello. Not exactly playlist material.
Based on how many times I’ve suspected I’ve listened to these songs (and LURVED them!) since they were released, it’s going have to be one of the following:
I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do) by Hall & Oates from Private Eyes (1981)
little america by R.E.M. from Reckoning (1984)
Life and How to Live It, again by R.E.M. from Fables of the Reconstruction (1985)
It’s Nearly Africa by XTC from English Settlement (1982)
I Started Something I Couldn’t Finish by The Smiths, a single (1987)
Steve Miller Band – Abracadabra
Soft Cell – Tainted Love
Frankie Goes To Hollywood – Relax
:D
Oh my god. Krystal, marry me. I didn’t see your quip when I was writing mine.
