How can I go about hiring a nurse to take care of a relative with Alzheimers?

I have an uncle with Alzheimers that is in bad shape. I would like to hire a nurse to come once a week to bathe and care for him. Can anyone give me some advice on how to do this? And how much does it usually cost?
