Do medium pink and royal blue make lavender?

You can’t take a dab of each and mix them on a piece of paper?
You don’t need to mix an entire batch, just a test dollop.

Yes. Lavander is a 50/50 mix of violet and white. Violet is a mix of red and blue (royal blue also has a tiny bit of green, but not enough to matter).

So in your pink, you already have the red and white. The royal blue will bring in the blue component. Since royal blue is typically quite dark, you may need to add some more white just to get the tint right.

Color Mixer

That’s just one, do a google search for color wheel, color mixer, color chart. The link above is kinda cool but I’m sure there are better/easier ones out there.
