Is your PS2 modded? If it doesn’t have a modchip, or if you don’t use some type of disc loader system, you can’t play burned games.

Can you be more explicit? How do I know if I have that specifications?

Having a modchip requires physically going inside of the console (void the warranty), soldering on a component, and sealing the console back up. If you have purchased your PS2 from the store and haven’t opened it up, or if you are unsure if you have a modchip, you likely do not have a modchip installed, and thus you cannot play games you burn onto discs.

ok,but what do you know about Swap Magic?A friend told me that I can buy and it works perfectly

Swap Magic is another way of loading up burned discs. It generally doesn’t require any hardware modifications, but you need to go through the entire process of using the Swap Magic disc each time you want to play a burned disc. However I have no experience with it personally and thus can give you no real information about it or how well it works.

Hmmm… Play copied games you should not. Hard to see, the dark side is. Pirating is the path to the dark side. Pirating leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

I really, really wish there was some way to convey Yoda’s voice in text form. Improve the internets, it would. ;)
