No dude. they did get some horrible calls against them… but no dude. they were not the better team. yeah, Harrison made a dick move by keeping that dude on the ground but, massive props by scoring that int return. Arizona’s OL should have held up better. If they could have stopped the Pitt DL and rushers, they very well could have won, but they didnt and its in the past now.

it was a good, hard fought game, they just couldn’t keep the pace. Every time, Rodgers-Cromartie just couldn’t keep up with Santonio Holmes. He plays up, Holmes gets behind him. He plays back, they run a screen/slant to him so he can get some good yardage. It was horrible. but they couldn’t uncover Hines ward either, or Heath miller. it was a tough situation. They needed to pressure Big Ben but couldn’t do that and cover everyone effectively.

If you do not think that that was the most God damned despicable thing in the history of sports you are out of your mind.

I have to agree with madcapper here. He had a very nice interception and run back but what when he held that guy on the ground and was punching him, that was fucked up. Then to keep pushing a guy who is not fighting you back at all in an attempt to start a fight in the middle of the superbowl of all games is fucking retarded. I hope that was the reason he didn’t win the mvp. I would have flipped out if he did.

Then again I don’t remember who it was but another steeler continued to push and hit one of the cardinals after he was blatantly out of bounds and on the cardinals side for that matter. hey a free 15 yards for each time but it’s just disrespectful to the sport

and im a ravens fan so you know i love hard football but those crossed the line. plus it’s not like the steelers aren’t know for some cheap shots. hines ward in particular.

And Yes, Harrison’s actions during the punt was horrible. If Santonio Holmes had not caught the last TD pass, then I would either bet Harrison or even Kurt Warner would have been chosen.

If Harrison had won MVP I would have puked all over the place… and I also think Taylor’s action’s were bullshit.. I can’t deny that Santonio Holmes didn’t deserve that MVP. He played a great game and I think he’s a great player. I still would have rather have seen the cardinals win and larry fitzgerald get the mvp tho. He makes plays that just seem unfuckingbelievable lol. Like the Tyree catch from last year. I actually didn’t know much about him before the game tonight but i watched his mini-special during the kurt warner interview in the pregame show and fell in love haha. He is just a sick player.

Normally, They dont play that dirty. Sure the all deal big hits, (Hines Ward) but I was really surprised.

Even If the Cardinals have won, I HIGHLY DOUBT Fitz would have gotten it. He caught one pass in the First half and 6 in the second. If he would have produced throughout the entire game, he would have been a lock. If the cardinals won and the stats stayed similar, Warner would have taken the Honors again. I mean, 377 and 3 TD’s? Thats freakish in the playoffs.

my favorite commercial was the potato head tire commercial. also liked the pedigree commercial w/ the rhino and the ostrich.
