What living rock legend would you spend $200+ to see live?

For me, I think only Paul McCartney falls in that category. I wouldn’t pay that much to see the Stones. And Neil Young shows aren’t that expensive.

I saw The Eagles 2 weeks ago, and tickets were about $150+ each for the floor section…that was an amazing show. I definitely wouldn’t pay that much for the Stones.

Pete Townshend and possibly even Ringo Starr… I liked his solo stuff even more than McCartney’s (But i’d still pay for McCartney)

I’m with you. Definitely Paul McCartney. I thought of another musician too that I really like a lot and would pay good money to see him perform live – James Taylor.

The Eagles, but they would have to include Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Joe Walsh.

Led Zeppelin

@SuperMouse: Saw that exact show not long ago…if you get a chance to go, it was worth every stinking penny! Joe Walsh can still rouse the crowd and the rest of the boys sound perfect!

@bythebay – I agree, they sounded AMAZING. Totally worth it.

I’ve seen Paul McCartney a couple of times in concert and his shows were awesome. For me, I would love to see a Pink Floyd reunion (obviously without Richard Wright) and have them do The Wall show. I was a bit too young to see this when the album came out, but would pay lots of money for another chance. I’ve seen Roger Waters live a couple of times and Pink Floyd without Roger Waters, and I must say the Roger Waters shows blew away the Pink Floyd without Waters shows.

A big 90’s Jumble!
If not, Live. I am a big fan of them. Also, Alanis Morrissette.

i can’t think of any that i’d realistically spend that much on, if i had that much excess to spend on a concert. i instinctively think BILLY JOEL!~!~ because i adore that man, but he’s played like 10 dates less than 30 minutes from me because i think he moved to my area. and i haven’t even checked the prices.
so i guess i’m not as dedicated as i’d like to think.
there are a few dead guys i’d pay an arm and a leg to see, but that’s irrelevant.

I’d pay $200 + to spend some time one on one with Pete Townsend, like having coffee or something, but as for concerts, I don’t do those. I hate going to a show with a bunch of drunken f*ckers who can think of nothing better to do that throw their beer on me. If I was in charge, there would be no beer served at a public show. Why people have to prove they are idiots by drinking in public confounds me.

I think coffee with any of the above mentioned people would cost a lot more than 200$, but yeah, i see your point.

Well..I’m the 70’s gal, saw everyone when they were in the primes of their careers.
The Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eagles, Grateful Dead, Santana, Aerosmith, Leonard Skinnard, John Cougar, on & on….

I’m with @evelyns_pet_zebra…..

Not into fighting my way down on the green or being puked on by drunken concert goers anymore these days…been there done that. lol
