Toys! I see that Big Wheels, Sit ‘n’ Spins and Slip ‘n’ Slides are still made, so:

Two hard plastic balls attached to a string, which in turn was attached to a flat plastic handle. You clacked them together and they made the best sound! They’ve morphed into Klackers and they’re meh now. The fun was in wondering when the balls were going to shatter!
And there was toy called the Lemon Twist, where a rubber loop went round your ankle and there was a rubber extension attached to a plastic lemon with little beads in it that made noise. Moving your ankle would make everything rotate, and you’d skip over the lemon.
Ooh, and Spirograph, but only from the late 70s. The newer ones are lame.

@asmonet I’ve never had the body to wear a corset and it be comfortable, but I think they are gorgeous, so I’m with you on that one.
@dlm812: Honestly, it’s a matter of finding what works for you and having someone who knows what they’re doing do the the fitting. A real corset, with steel boning when properly fitted, should be comfortable. And then you have to break it in so it molds to your body, once both of those are done, you really forget you’re wearing it.
I love corsets. :D

Original VW Bugs, Beetles, Super Beetles.
My first car was the original VW Beetle. It had no gas gauge; when you ran out of gas, you kicked on a little reserve tank. That held enough fuel to get you to a gas station, unless you forgot (which we often did). Then you were stuck, often on superhighways with traffic whizzing by. This was decades before car or cell phones.
Boy Meets World. I would watch that show forever.
