Sometimes I’m typing up a question, then I go over it and I decide not to submit it.

When I have a general idea of what the answer will be on fluther I don’t ask it.
Both with questions and answers. Well over half of what I type is killed by the “back” button.
Yup. Happens w/ both questions and answers. For lotsa reasons.
Always. I do not want to ask too many questions.
I have once in a while. Usually, though. I let a potential Fluther question rattle around and take shape in my mind for a day so before posting. If I’m going to kill it, it is likely to be before I start typing it.
When I type up a question I usually submit it to the collective.
The same does not apply to answers.
i do that a lot. i (as you’ve probably noticed) tend to talk in circles, and when i notice that i’m doing that to the extent that i don’t even know what point i was trying to make, i just bow out haha
I sometimes think I’ll use up all those useless coins I left dangeling over in askville and ask questions annynomusly. I haven’t been back though.
All the time. I type it, look at it a dozen times, then erase it. I do it a lot on answers, too. Often because I’m feeling snarky and my answer is unnecessary or because I feel like I have nothing to add that hasn’t already been covered.
I’ve done this on more occasions that I can remember. Sometimes my answer starts out sounding good but ends up looking bad and that just won’t do. :o)
oops. edit of my previous answer:
i read the question as “answering a question” not “asking”. i’ve never posted a question.
not so much with questions, but with answers.
I may just think of a question and never type it though. Does that count?
NEVER in my life…Asking a question is the way to CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT.
I might, usually when I can’t seem to phrase it how I want so that it delivers the purpose and sense desired.
I’m just really lazy I guess.
There’s also times that I’ll back out of asking something if it seems too awkward, but that doesn’t happen very often.
