I hope to complete the dull business work so that I can get back into the studio.
How about you- any goals for today?

Oh, just reading about a hundred pages (maybe a little more, I’m just estimating) in two different languages in between 4 hours of class, eating, writing some stuff, and seeing my sweetie.
I already did my 5 mile run today so I can check that one off.
Brighten up someone else’s day.
Get some shopping done.
Finish a drawing for my boytoy.
Read some in the book I’m currently on.
Purchase books for school, with money I don’t have of course.
I could think of more,
most likely all will not get done.
Go me!
I hope to have customers in my showroom all day so that I can write a lot of orders and start feeling better about spending ten days in Las Vegas.
@La_chica_gomela: Too bad you didn’t have Michael out there running in the opposite direction with a stop watch.
Fluther keeps calling me away from that treadmill!
I finally made it to the treadmill. Writing it out must have convicted me. Thanks guys.
I’ve actually completed a lot of my weekly goals on Monday and Tuesday, so today is a bit of a relaxing day for me! Woo!
I’m determined though not to spend it all here. I have a box of Legos sitting two feet away and they’re pretty enticing!
It would be good to do such things as finish my homework and fill out my grad school applications. Mostly the applications. Though it’s suddenly spring like up here in snowy New England so I will probably play outdoors instead!
Finish the book I’m reading.
Applying for lots of jobs online.
I interviewed at DisneyLand yesterday . It went really well. I may be spending this summer in the happiest place on earth!
@Judi!!! You are back! We missed you ever so much on the thread about what invention you would like for your home!!!
Congrats on the good interview!
I finally got my income tax finished yesterday; and today I fixed my TimeMachine (and its external back-up) over the phone so now I speak better Mac, partially thanks to johnpowell, robmandu, sndfreq and my other patient gurus here. Now I have a few free hours before I take on my mothers’s rehab staff.
Milo and I will tiptoe through the daffodils.
@gailcalled – Aw, you’ve got daffy-dills! I wish I weren’t allergic to cats.
Today, I hope to get a good 45 minutes of exercise/karate practice in, do a bit of cleaning, try to connect with the career counselor I’ve been referred to and quell my nervousness enough for the first get together of a new meetup group I signed up for.
@gailcalled- isn’t time machine great? It has saved me many times.
@aprilsimnel Great goal.
Today I need to continue three Christmas horse paintings- hopefully to completion.
@aprilsimnel : Don’t be nervous. Everyone else is just as anxious. It’s just like the first day of seventh grade. You are so busy picking out what to wear, you don’t notice anyone else’s outfit.
Sometimes, when I torture myself about what to wear to a wedding or party, I think back to how I neither care nor remember what the other women had on.
@Dog; the difficulties with Time Machine were caused by my cat, Milo, who apparently unplugged one lead on my external back-up back-up, called “Super Duper.”
TM and Super Duper are apparently Siamese twins. Milo doesn’t give a hoot. I wish my guru would send the bill to the cat.
@Dog;
I must have accidently stopped following that thread because even though I am traveling I have been trying to check in every day. I have to admit I love my iPhone.
@gailcalled – Well, it was fun. They were very nice people and I’m sure we’ll hang out again.
@aprilsimnel; And you have learned from this to find it easier the next time a similar event looms in your life? I’m glad it was fun.
@gailcalled Was Milo in a mood that day or was it simply that he did not think you had the cords connected where they should be?
Today I very desperately need to finish three paintings. Now that the family is healthy again this is now possible!
@Dog: MIlo gets aggressive after dark, when I can’t let him out to hunt. That is his first choice. Second is jumping around the computer area, which is particularly aggravating now that he is shedding heavily.
I am going to take tickets at the box office today for our monthly film club movie. And the usual domestic stuff..now that I too am over my nasty strep throat.
