Hahaha, no. Look what he did with California, and that’s only one state.
He would look imposing as a President, but he has absolutely no qualifications to lead a country. In fact, he has negative qualifications: his experience with Cali and the fact that he’s not eligible due to his country of birth.
He would certainly be very hard to understand every time he gave a public speech. He even had trouble pronouncing California when he first became governor there.
As far as him being qualified to be president, I really don’t think he has the skills and knowledge needed to be competent for the job. Now that I think of it, some idiot from Texas wasn’t worth a damn either for the 8 years he was in Washington D.C.
Well, he technically can’t be president since he wasn’t born in this country either.
I’m soooo not clicking a link entitled ‘Arnold Exposed’.
He could pump it up for you!
Oh come on benseven! You’ll miss out on a picture of Arnold doing a pose back in his bodybuilding days, which the authors of this website have cleverly used to show him performing the Nazi salute and conclude that he’s a Nazi! Classic!
You mean the man that commutes in a plane, daily, because he won’t reside in the governor’s mansion? Nope.
I have a friend that is so stinking ready for him to be gone – yes, she lives in CA. The state that wants to issue (or has it been decided to do it – not just a proposal) IOUs for tax refunds…...the list is quite long – that state is in pretty bad standing!
No, thanks. I’d probably vote for PeeWee Herman, before him.
I don’t doubt that he’d be a somewhat effective president, but he’s way too rational to ever survive a Republican primary. To do that, you have to dellate the fundamentalists and he just won’t play that game. Besides, he’s not a natural born citizen, so he couldn’t be elected anyway.
OK, I did it, and was relieved there was not a ridiculous amount of nudity present.
I think the fact of the matter is even if a lot of that is bull or spin, 10% of it being true would be enough to convince me he shouldn’t be a Governor, let alone POTUS.
He would terminate terrorism one could say?
That would be just great.(sarcasm) Then I could get TWO IOUs as tax rebates to pin to the wall and stare at.
The idea of this woman-grabbing, loudmouthed, brute in control of U.S. foreign policy terrorizes me!
I live in California and I can say ABSOLUTLY NO!
I came here to mention the same thing Blondie did—he’s not eligible. Having said that, I think he’d be a bad one so I’m glad he’s not eligible.
I think his coming from Austria and having such insight to different political forms… he, like our founding Fathers understands the importance of a Democratic Republic as opposed to other forms of government. Since he is a ‘naturalized citizen’ he is not able to run for the highest office in the land and I am conflicted about that. I find him intelligent and thoughtful. He came to this country to live in a free society… he knows what it’s like to live under oppression and I think that too is important in a President.
I’m with @Judi on this one, I livein CA also and he can’t get our legislature to pass a budget, he is in no way ok to be president, I’m ready for a new governator.
I agree with @Judi and @miasmom. Not only can he not get it passed, but he was late even submitting the budget. It’d be kind of bad if he was submitting everything late as a president.
Not only that, but we don’t have money in CA and he wants to cut education, while at the same time hiring a former legislature to do who knows what for over a 100,000 a year. Our state is so messed up! Thanks Arnold.
Car registration fee hike. Can we Californians say recall?
He would violate the Constitution simply by being President. And in a position where one must defend the Constitution, that seems less than ideal.
But I’d also decline to vote for him, if he were eligible.
