What changes has Obama made so far to welfare reform?

I heard he wiped out welfare reform and will make it easier for people to get food stamps, public assistance, Medicaid, but have not heard details on this. I also find it hard to believe that he did it within two weeks.

I do not believe this was the aim or the will be the result of the changes that have been made, but you should judge for yourself.

Here is an analysis of this somewhat concerted attack on some provisions of the Obama economic stimulus plan.
From my reading so far the bill increases food stamps by 14 percent. And gives people on Disability and SSI a extra 250$. The SSi and disability thing is actually less then what Bush did last time. If I remember correctly.

He hasn’t even had a month in office! Lets see what happens. The truth is, there is a much greater need for public services since our economy was raped by 8 years of the Bush regime.
