What do you think of creating a map of all the Fluther users?

What would be the best program to go about doing it? google earth? a mashup site of some sort?

How the heck do you add yourself to the map?

You have to sign in or create an account first. then click the link and there will be an option to Edit.

Finally, I’m on the map!

I’d like to thank Google for the account, and my old co-worker, D, who invited me to get my own Google account, and of course, Fluther, without whom there would be no map ::sniff!sob!:: nor would I be typing here before you all tonight…

Ah ha, figured it out. I am now on the map. Pretty cool.

I added myself to the map (well, where i’m moving in two weeks)

i made a google account and i still have no idea how to add myself.
am i technologically challenged or what

log into the account.

then, click on the map link in this thread.

look for a button on the left hand side Edit. click it.

locate your location. click the pin icon overlaid on the map, and drop a pin on that spot.

type in your Fluther name and whatever details.

again on the left hand side, press Save.
