5.1 surround minimal, and something lke 4 aux? Or 5? Maybe more?
Klaas, you seem to buy a LOT of electronics! :)
I think you’ll find that most home cinema systems that have lots of aux inputs. You can find out on the manufacturers’ web page, usually. For example, the Onkyo HT-SR800 has 12 aux inputs (video and audio): 4 composite, 3 s-video, 3 component, 2 HDMI. That’s insane. Am I reading that right? Insane.
Anyway, you should specify what kind of inputs you need (e.g., How many s-video inputs do you need? How many composite inputs? How many HDMI?) and start there. Just counting the number of aux inputs isn’t going to give you valuable data.
But I wouldn’t be surprised to find that most home cinema systems have more than enough inputs for your purposes.
P.S. You do mean video inputs, right, not just audio?
Actually, I do mean audio-only. and I like to hear it out of a 5.1 surround set.
