What gets Fluther in your mind, and keeps you coming back to the site? I’m trying to understand why people are here, and why they give me such good answers.

My work hasn’t blocked it yet. Shhhhh…..
It’s the stimulating conversation.
Either that or the chicks
All the wealth of information regarding the year 2012.
Um, I was going to say the chicks.
and there’s a year 2012?
The people. I’ve made some good friends on here. <3… and <4 and <6. (They know what that means.)
I keep asking myself the same thing. I like the people here and all, but I really think it’s an excuse for not getting anything done. It’s a stall tactic. :-)
It isn’t Askville; it focuses more energy on issues rather than drama; there are some good people to talk to; and yes, I too like the chicks. Also the women. Oh hell, even some of the guys.
The people, the breadth and depth of the conversations.
I mean where else can you find potitics, religion, poop and sex discussions… and each one worthwhile, too?
A burning desire to know the answer to this “Does Kiba Inuzuka like Hinata are not?” or even to know what it means.
I like to let the CIA know what i think and what i’m doing.
Hmm…
Mostly habit. I get irritated with fluther, and many times I have wanted to leave and never come back, but I do. This is something I have to think about.
Thanks. I often think nobody likes me. =(
No way. You couldn’t be farther from the truth!
Oh, I’m sure a few people don’t like me. But everybody likes august. I do!
I’m sure some don’t like me, either. Fuck ‘em :)
I’m glad you do, though.
@Bri_L I may have run into you at the National Zoo, Mr. Lemur :)
I personally keep coming back to Fluther for yet another hit of tinyfaerytude.
@tinyfaery: You are absolutely liked. It’s the jumbofaery I can’t stand.
It’s the people that bring me back to Fluther. I’m in a funk right now about the questions, but no matter what, I’ll lurk to see what everyone’s up to.
1. The website is clean and neat looking.
2. I like the lurve. Show me the lurve. xD
3. The interface is refreshing because it’s not the same old forum style
4. I get to ask questions. I have a lot.
It’s like Hotel california. You can check out any time you want, but you can never leave!! @laser.. Welcome to the site. Stick around a while, and you’ll see why we love it so much!
@Scamp stole my answer :P
I come back because you really do become part of a community if you give and take from it everything you can (and respect people!). I love the endless fount of knowledge and the fact that the people here are intelligent and well-spoken, even over the internet. I always type with correct spelling, grammar and punctuation, and I love the fact that the users here appreciate that and type with the same level of eloquence. Nothing annoys me more than seeing a “2” instead of a “to” or “too,” and “txt spk” drives me up a wall.
And no one can deny that they get a little boost when they receive lurve.
Do people actually dislike other people on fluther? I disagree with a lot of people on here but I never found myself actually disliking people (exceptions: people with the obvious intention of pissing other people off).
I come here mainly because its a stall tactic from doing actual work. GA Judi.
I like this place because, usually, I don’t have to think about whether people like me, or not. We just are. That’s the best for me.
The questions, the answers, but most importantly, the people.
You better not say that around AstroChuck. He’ll knock you silly!
When you look through our profiles, fellow Flutherers, it appears we have a lot in common.
Although I, personally, have never even met a badger.
@daloon- I think I could take him. Even if I couldn’t, I have a lot of unsavory info on him which I wouldn’t hesitate to reveal to all if he doesn’t watch his step.
God, I hate that bastard!
@AstroChuck: You’re just asking for trouble, now. He reads this thread, don’t you know? And he’s very pugilistic. And I don’t know if you could take him. I’d say the fight would be pretty evenly matched. In fact, I don’t think I know anyone who would be any closer to him in capability than you. Uh-oh. There he comes now. I’ma gonna duck until the dust clears!
Does it count as coming back to Fluther if I don’t actually close the browser window?
Help! I’m trapped in fluther and I can’t get out!
It is better than making needlecraft projects all day, because of the ability to interact. I don’t like going out of the house, except to my own back yard where I often take my laptop and fluther. I like the interesting discussions, without the risks involved in face to face contacts.
