There are a lot of philosophy discussions right here. Ask a good question about it, and I bet you’ll get the discussion you’re looking for :)
Hmm.. I’m sure if you search philosophy chat something will pop up. I know there are jellies here who like the subject. Maybe you can just ask a question here and get a good discussion going. I pray to the jelly gods that it will be a good discussion.. not a shitty one.
@augustlan haha! yeah, cheers mate.. I know that.. haven’t you read some of my questions?
anyhow, I’m specifically looking for a site though..
@lynneblundell no, I’ve already ‘studied it’ .. it’s an interest. (Evne though one cannot say he /she studies philosophy.. rather one should contemplate it from within one’s self, not from a book)
Philosophy is but a bunch of opinions.. and possible solutions to many problems.
@Allie yes, have done so and will continue to ..
thanx all anyways for the kindness X ) (you lovely people, you )
‘m adding you to my fluther…..
One site that i’ve found and thought was pretty good is http://forums.philosophyforums.com/
i graduated with a second degree in philosophy and find it really interesting but don’t really associate with people with the similar sort of interest so it’s nice to have a website dedicated to that. i’ve been pretty busy but i have been planning to dedicate more time to that site so check it out!
cheers, I appreciate it..
@DrasticDreamer why thank you ever so much, mylady… do you participate there?
I’ve thought about it, but no. There’s a reason I don’t, but it’s a long story.
I have raised the philosophical reference that begs a response on more than one occasion. (See the “Do you believe in ghosts” thread.) Although some have not been recognized or failed to get a response. But like you say, the Emersonian challenge to self reliance(can you guess my favorite philosopher?) and allowing the firmament to be lit by your own inner wisdom is far more intriguing than citation. And I might add, I find it more fruitful than furious power driven debates over issues…But I can be a complete ass as well…which is also fun. :)
