Where were you most productive in getting homework done? Where were some of the strange places you did homework?

Nowadays my room is messy so I do my homework in the garage. By the time I clutter it up I will have moved out and my parents can just board my room up or something. I haven’t been that productive with my homework since fluther though…
@mrswho Fluther is precisely the reason I’m asking. . .
Usually wherever the closest chair was outside the classroom 5–10 minutes before it was due.
I should be doing my chemistry homework right now…
I don’t do homework regularly. When I do it it’s usually five minutes before class starts, or else during some other class. There’s always enough wasted classtime throughout the day to get homework done. If I wanted to do homework at home, I’d do it at my desk in my room, which I always keep free of clutter.
I have a little nest surrounding the forced-air heater in my living room. It’s backed by the wall of an upright piano, floored with a couch cushion, and hemmed in by a coffee table overflowing with books, a rocking chair, miscellaneous papers, and cats.
In middle school, I sometimes used to do my homework under the dining room table. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know.
I have many many places. I don’t do homework very much, most of my “work” involves studying for exams, writing essays, and other monumental tasks.
I’ve found that the worst place is my bed, by far. My desk is good, but it goes through cycles of being too cluttered, then I move out into the folding table in the dining room, which is a great place. There are very few distractions, unless my roommate is home, then I pretty much leave my house because she’s such a loud person. I’ll go over to Tim’s house and do homework at his desk, which is not so good, because we distract each other. Doing homework in his bed is just as bad as mine because I fall asleep there too.
The library has its pros and cons. It’s quiet, there are no distractions, and the general atmosphere is conducive to working (everyone else is doing, peer pressure tells me I must conform) but it’s often very cold, I always seem to forget something, and I get hungry.
Those are my main places.
When I was in high school, I did my homework almost exclusively in my room at home. Another place I opted to do homework, less frequently of course and although it wasn’t a strange venue, was going to a city park because I found it relaxing and without distractions for the most part.
In the library. My roommate and I are pretty good friends at this point so when I try and study in the room I tend to get distracted goofing off with her and vice versa. The library has that “atmosphere” that I need to study and get work done. I always feel very focused when I’m there. I also always leave my earphones and such in my dorm so I won’t get distracted listening to music.
Well in high school my sister used to do homework on the bathroom floor it was carpeted and had the best heater in the whole house!
