Burn After Reading, Tropic of Thunder
School for scoundrels (1960) not the crappy remake.
The Big Lobowski (sp.), Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Fargo, almost any Coen Brothers’ movie.
I’ve always liked parodies myself.
- Airplane I & II
– Top Secret
– Hot Shots & Hot Shots: Part Deux
– Young Frankenstein
– History of the World, Part I
– Blazing Saddles
– Monty Python and the Holy Grail
– Transylvania 6–5000
The Life of Brian (Monty Python)
Step Brothers!!!! It is hilarious.
Anchorman
Club Dread
Super Troopers

Waiting For Guffman. Oh man do I love this movie. It’s funny the first time you see it and then pee your pants hilarious the 13th time. Love that.
Caddy Shack
The Jerk
Animal House
@saranwrapper , I love Waiting for Guffman. I also strongly recommend Drop Dead Gorgeous.
Not sure if this qualifies as “comedy”, but it made me laugh a lot:
I saw this Mexican film this weekend (yes, it was in Spanish) called [something] Cobos. Some guys kidnap the wrong guy and the whole thing spirals from there. It has an amazingly intricate plot, where things keep getting more and more complicated, which at the same time makes them hilarious. It is quite violent, though not too bloody (compared to Tarantino films, not Jerry Lewis). I thought it was really clever and an amazingly good production for its budget.
- The Gods Must Be Crazy
– It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World
– All of Me
– A Fish Called Wanda
Bridget Jones Diary.. it always cheers me up!!!
Raising Arizona
Take the Money and Run
This is Spinal Tap
Other people have listed some of my favorites, so:
A Night at the Opera
Oh, yeah! And Monkey Business
Old School and Best in Show. They’re totally different, and both total riots.
I just watched my Best Friends Girl and I though it was So Funny!Office Space
Super Troopers
Drop Dean Fred (childhood favorite)
Raising Arizona and The Big Lebowski are two of my favorites but since they were already mentioned I’ll add:
Zoolander
Bananas
A Shot in the Dark
Rushmore
Anything connected to Christopher Guest;
Some LIke it Hot
The Tall Guy
The Commitments
Red Dwarf (OK it’s a TV show but it was good. Still makes me laugh now.)
Juno
Little Miss Sunshine
About A Boy
Lars And The Real Girl
Hot Fuzz
