I’m still sort-of in my childhood, but I wouldn’t change anything even if I could. Then I wouldn’t be the person I am today (and I might not even be on fluther :O )
I’m tempted to say I’d try to relate to my mother better or stand up to her sooner – but I also know that I am who I am today because of everything in my life (even the bad stuff).
So, ultimately, nothing. I’d change nothing and live with by regrets.
I would have paid more attention to my grandparents.
My father would be less busy (absent) and my mother would be more contented, and our home would be dry.
My parents. I would have swaped them with my grandparents. Eh. My grandparents pretty much raised me anyway.
I would kick the Boogie Man’s ass.
Its sort-of ending now, so, I would keep that from happening. I would hold on and not let myself get old.
Let me know how that ” holding on ” thing works out. ( :
I’d be more assertive and honest with my parents.
It would have been good for all three of us.
I lived in 3 different states, NY, SC, and CA (now I’ve moved again as an adult). We moved every 7 years, not on purpose. I don’t feel like I have a real home base or real childhood friends.
On one hand, I like me and I’m sure moving around helped shaped me. On the other hand, I wouldn’t chose to do that again.
Less tv and more running around in the beautiful grassy hills that are now all condos and suburbs.
No asthma. It kicked my butt until I was 13.
