I love to color! Crayola crayons make me happy. Now that I’m an adult I can buy the big pack, my mom would only let me get the medium sized.

I still color, but I do it with dye on wool, or by using dyed wool in the yarns I spin. Mixing multiple colors creates interesting visual textures in the final product. It’s just as engrossing to me as the Crayolas were back in the day, only now I don’t have to stay in the lines. :)

All the time (I have a 5 year old daughter). I’m usually still coloring when she’s been done for a while. Blowing bubbles and playing with sidewalk chalk and paint are fun too!

Yes. I have markers, pencils and crayons that I color with.

Coloring is a fantastic way to waste time. My niece will often bring me her markers and coloring books and demand that I color pages for her (though it usually only takes a few moments for her to realize she gets bored just watching and wants to resume the coloring herself).

All the time. I have a huge closet filled with art supplies for when I feel creative. Crayons, pencil crayons, paints, fabrics, papers, stamps, markers, chalks, stamp carving supplies, you name it. I love color.

Sometimes I color with code. It may sound a bit strange, but I enjoy being creative in making little web applications. Right now in fact I’m coding up a little data application targeted for an iPod Touch sized screen.

It’s very fun to be creative in all ways.

Yea you know it all the time. Mostly when I`m bored.

no. I no longer find any pleasure in that activity at 37.

I’ve graduated from coloring outside the lines to coloring completely outside the book.

I make my living coloring- but just changed to blank canvas and oil paint instead of lined paper and crayolas.

Electronic coloring maybe, but not crayons. Anyone know a good, free, electronic coloring website?

I love to color, and I love the HUGE box with the built in sharpener. However, I also color with other media, including paint, fabric, yarn, markers, flowers, and food.

AstroChuck's avatar

Yeah. I’m always getting time out from my wife when I color on the walls. :(

I love coloring but never seem to have time to do it :(

With my grand child. I remember how old crayola crayons smelled—rancid I think. Bad. So, my goal will keep a fresh supply for her. And draw away for hours.

mcbealer's avatar

yes!! I still color… sometimes at Borders on jazz night—very relaxing.

I also lurve to paint walls funky colors, and use lots of colored typeface in emails.

Nowadays I have to keep my crayons in a safe spot because my weimaraner, Gertie, loves to steal and eat them !!

A_Beaverhausen's avatar

my boyfriend eats mine :(

AstroChuck's avatar

The orange crayons taste the best. The green ones aren’t ripe enough.

Mr_M's avatar

@A_Beaverhausen , eats your what?

(My bad).

We have a dog that loves crayons. Makes doing dog-doo patrol easier.

Coloring is one of the most relaxing things I can do! I think it’s the combination of the quiet concentration and the light, rhythmic brushing sound of the crayons against the paper. I always keep a coloring book and crayons in my living room, or old copies of Altair Design around.

tinyfaery's avatar

Yep, and I’ll be 35 in 7 days. I like to color geometric designs and such. I use crayons, colored pencils and sharpies, depending on my mood.

I haven’t colored in a long while but after taking a look at the link that @MacBean posted above, it gave me inspiration and motivation to start up again. :o)

Mr_M's avatar

Is THAT what they’re calling it now??

augustlan's avatar

I love to color with crayons, pencils, markers and paint. In my house, in addition to the kids crayons, markers and such, I have my own art supplies that the kids can’t use unless I give them permission.

I love coloring! Today I actually organized my crayons by the colors of the rainbow…and then my Roommate knocked them over. Nice huh? Giant color pages are definitely the best….Make your to do lists in crayon, they are much more fun to look at!

I color before I go on runs at work. My co-workers laugh at me but always look forward to seeing what I draw. Psh! I’m in college too. :P.

miss_meg's avatar

I am in college too and coloring is one of my favorite past times! it really calms me down!

sjmc1989's avatar

I totally agree I love coloring in coloring books though but the coloring books they sell now suck they arent near as awesome as they were when I was little. Which that pretty much goes for including cartoons.

LouisianaGirl's avatar

@sjmc1989 yea really they just smack stuff onto the paper and the stores sell them, really crapy.

MacBean's avatar

Amazon sells some interesting coloring books. (Note: Probably not links you want to click if your boss or your kid or your mom are looking over your shoulder.)

@MacBean Funny, but ewwww!
