elijah's avatar

Tombstone is my all time favorite movie.

jonsblond's avatar

@tinyfaery I didn’t even consider movies based on musicians. Thanks for reminding me. The Doors for sure then.

Ashpea9288's avatar

Kinsey
A Beautiful Mind
And I definitely second Schindler’s List

Behind the Green Door

Bri_L's avatar

Dammit chuck, I typed and deleted that 3 times thinking “naw”.

Ray. I hate bio-pics but Jamie Foxx didn’t just play Ray Charles, he became Ray Charles.

Bluefreedom's avatar

I have several actually. It is difficult to narrow it down to just one favorite.

Remember the Titans
Mississippi Burning
The Last Emperor
Thunderheart
Silkwood
Mask
Born Free
Schindler’s List
And The Band Played On
The Right Stuff
Apollo 13
Blow
Freedom Writers
All the Presidents Men
Ghosts of Mississippi
Alive
Nuremberg
United 93

jonsblond's avatar

@Bluefreedom United 93 was so difficult to watch. Very good telling of real life events though. I also enjoyed Alive.

Bluefreedom's avatar

@jonsblond. My friends and I watched United 93 while at work at our base and none of us moved for 2 hours. It was riveting but also heartbreaking at the same time. Very sad.

galileogirl's avatar

@Bluefreedom Mostly agree but add
Cry Freedom
The Killing Fields
We Are Marshall

In Cold Blood but also Capote, the crime was worse than any slasher flick because of the evil that came from two very ordinary people. Impossible to fathom.

Bluefreedom's avatar

@galileogirl. I can’t believe I forgot The Killing Fields. That movie was excellent.

kwhull's avatar

Debbie Does Dallas….

Wait, wrong kinda movie! HAHAHA

eponymoushipster's avatar

@kwhull that was a documentary, doesn’t count.

TitsMcGhee's avatar

I’m voting once more for In Cold Blood, and I am adding MILK, Bottle Shock, American Gangster, Girl Interrupted, and… spice… world…

chelseababyy's avatar

Donnie Brasco.
Hands down.

NaturalMineralWater's avatar

The Pride of the Yankees

galileogirl's avatar

When Gary Cooper makes the farewell speech the tears just flow. If we are going classic, What about the Glenn Miller Story. Great music and June Allyson when she hears about her husband’s death.

chelseababyy's avatar

Glenn Miller Story was amazing. Lurve for you.

tinyfaery's avatar

Anybody see Milk?

KatawaGrey's avatar

@TitsMcGhee: Lurve for American Gangster. Extra lurve for spice world.

TitsMcGhee's avatar

@tinyfaery: I mentioned Milk!!!

@KatawaGrey: Fanks :) Spice World will forever be in my list of favorite movies. That movie was my elementary school experience.

chelseababyy's avatar

@TitsMcGhee I probably could still recite almost every line of Spice World. Good stuff right there.

TitsMcGhee's avatar

@chelseababyy: I still can. I did last Sunday, as a matter of fact. :D

chelseababyy's avatar

@TitsMcGhee Jealous. I think I’m gonna try and look for it next time I’m at my mom’s. It’s good times.

chelseababyy's avatar

The gucci dress, the little gucci dress or the little gucci dress?

TitsMcGhee's avatar

Ah knuh! Why don’t ya wear THE LETTLE GUCCI DRESS?

Good idea, thanks Em!

chelseababyy's avatar

When the rabbit of chaos is pursued by the ferret of disorder, through the fields of anarchy, it is time to hang your pants on the hook of darkness. Whether they’re clean or not. ;]

TitsMcGhee's avatar

YES.

And noooo cheeeeeese!

What do you think about manta rays?

Fun… you know, like ha ha ha haaa ha ha?

Then there’s Buzz, Woody, the alien, and I’ve got a fluffy pink hot water bottle, so there’s just not room for ya, mate!

Now I love these girls, and I would do anything for them… but I won’t do that!

Bri_L's avatar

I never want to see the sentance

“And noooo cheeeeeeeese!” again.

I seized up, passed out and hit my head on the wheel of extra-sharp cheddar I was eating.

chelseababyy's avatar

YES YES.

Okay, girls, that was absolutely perfect without.. really being any good at all.

I told them before. If they wanted to be spontaneous they had to clear it with me first.

Well, i’m gonna break the rules and set this little fairground horse free amonst all these little square fields, like that. There!

Hold on to your knickers girls!

TitsMcGhee's avatar

Says who? SAYS MR. CHESS! It’s been in the rule books for thousands of years!

chelseababyy's avatar

@TitsMcGhee I have a feeling you and I could do this all night.

A big old scary haunted, big old house!

TitsMcGhee's avatar

@chelseababyy: I definitely could keep going all night, but I’m promising myself that I’m gonna go work on my essay that is due at 10 am now…

chelseababyy's avatar

@TitsMcGhee

Have fun with that! And remember:
We’re cookin’ here. This is a stew, a gumbo, a jambalaya, if you will. We’re just jammin’.

TitsMcGhee's avatar

NOW HEAR THIS.

It is dangerous to leave moisturizing creams in the refrigerator, as they may be mistaken for mayonnaise.

THAT IS ALL.

chelseababyy's avatar

The headless chicken can only know where he’s been. He can’t see where he’s going.

TitsMcGhee's avatar

I HAVE TO STOP :P

Back to my essay…

chelseababyy's avatar

HAHAHA Have fun.

toomuchcoffee911's avatar

I’m not sure you guys know how hilarious that was…

chelseababyy's avatar

@toomuchcoffee911 glad you liked!

Can we please leave butts and bums out of this, for one moment?

TitsMcGhee's avatar

STAY UP THERE! WE’RE NOT READY FOR YOU YET!

… Bloody Sunday drivers! And it’s only Saturday!

They’ve got fire in their eyes, hunger in their bellies, and great big shoes on their feet!!!

Or discover a cure for deja vu.
Psh, not me.
Or discover a cure for deja vu.
Psh, not me.

chelseababyy's avatar

Lmao. I always loved that deja vu part.

We’re the Spice Girls, yes indeed. Just girl power is all we need. We know how we got this far,
Strength and courage in a Wonderbra~.

Boys, boys, calm down! Haven’t you ever heard of the word “compromisation”?

cordovanessa's avatar

Actually no Factory Girl… has anyone seen this?

jonsblond's avatar

@cordovanessa I haven’t seen it. So it’s pretty good?
