I think that the Oscars would have been more interesting, last night if someone would had released a pack of hyenas on the audience, but, that being said, out of all of the movies/performances that were nominated, which ones did you see?

I would have watched it if the hyenas were released.
Really- I would have.
I think you can use that hyenas analogy with pretty much any live TV show.
I only saw Benjamin Button, which I just thought was so-so when I saw it (kind of drawn out at points). I thought Heath Ledger deserved the win. I didn’t loove The Dark Knight, but the Joker was definitely the highlight of the film. Robert Downey Jr. was great in Tropic Thunder, though (in an otherwise disappointing film).
I haven’t seen Slumdog Millionaire, but it’s definitely on my list of movies to see. Even moreso after last night.
I saw Slumdog Millionaire last Sunday.
I’ve seen Dark Knight.
I still want to see Benjamin Button.
I saw Wall-E, and hated it.
I saw Kung Foo Panda, and it’s the only animated movie I’ve ever liked.
I saw Benjamin Button and cried, although I was annoyed at myself for crying because it kind of sucked.
I saw Tropic Thunder, and I thought it was dumb and that Robert Downey Jr’s performance was overrated.
I thought Angelina Jolie’s performance in the Changeling was pretty good.
I saw Slumdog Millionaire, and it deserved every award it got.
Has anyone seen “The Wrestler”? If so, what did you think?
@jmah I saw the Wrestler. I thought it was very good. They did a good job of taking all the bells and whistles out of pro wrestling and showing you what the lives of most pro wrestlers are really like. Mickey Rourke was very believable in the role.
I saw The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger deserved that Best Supporing Actor Oscar all the way. I’m glad he won it and it was very sad that he couldn’t be there to accept it.
Wall-E was fantastic. Went back and saw it again the same day.
Slumdog squarepants was good but a bit depressing.
Benjy button had some fantastic special effects but that wasn’t enough to save it from being too long and dull as dish water.
Dark Knight had some flaws but Heath Ledger deserved the win.
Oh… were Wall-E and Kung Foo Panda winners? I looked at the Academy site and they weren’t on the front page list…. Go figure. Anyway, I’ve seen both of those. As far as animated features, I liked “Bolt” better.
Wall-E was the cats meow. I <3 Pixar.
I’ll have to check out Bolt.
I thought Wall-E was great,
The Wrestler was great
Dark Knight was great
Tropic Thunder was great (even it’s free mocumentary was great)
Maybe that’s too many “Greats” but I liked all of them a lot.
I saw Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, the Dark Knight, the Wrestler, and Tropic Thunder.
MILK WAS AMAZING, Slumdog, Dark Knight, and Wrestler were all great, and Tropic Thunder was funny, but I didn’t think it deserved an Oscar nod.
@TenaciousDenny: Of course Mickey Rourke was believable – he WAS a wrestler.
