Why are there no cheat codes in Xbox 360 Games?

Other consoles have the good old updownupdownleftrightleftrightBABAstart, etc. Why not in the 360?

There are codes for 360 games. Most games do have cheats. Look here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox360
There codes are listed by game. Hope this helps.
