Me: do you like bad brains?
My friend: no I don’t like punk
Me: they’re dope though they’re these black fools from DC that also do reggae
My friend: I hate niggers
Me: so you’re telling me that you don’t like any music by blacks???
I mean really…I love all music I don’t care who it’s by as long as it sounds good. And he sounded so stupid it makes me upset.

Can I take the liberty of continuing this conversation?
My friend: I hate n…..
Me: Later, asshole! Lose my number.
I think you need to reconsider your friend.
“I hate ni**ers” isn’t a healthy mentality.
how about “I hate biggotts”
Exactly what these two brilliant minds have said.
Oh and AstroChuck ;D
way to shit on me chelseababyy.
I mean I know AstroChuck’s don’t stink and Shilolo is a moderator but geeze
sniff
Say bye bye to that friend. He doesn’t like Bad Brains, wtf?
@Bri_L- Oh, mine stink all right. Believe me.
Great, so your good at that to! heheh.
I find the conversation distasteful really and I’m not the only one either. Someone appears to be prejudiced in that conversation and that’s just plain ugly in my book.
wtf!? it shocks me that anyone would STILL use the N word! UGHHH!!!! and seriously who doesn’t like bad brains!
@Bri_L I said those TWO and AstroChuck meaning Shilolo, YOU, and then AstroChuck. Duh silly.
I would be fine with having one less friend, after that conversation. Yeesh!
And you are friends with this person why exactly?
@chelseababyy – I thought oh was short for Shilolo and I was just joking.
I was itching for a reason to talk about AstroChucks defecate, but then who isn’t.
It sounds to me like you BOTH need some sensitivity training!
@Bri_L lololol jsdhfksjdhfksdf.
Your friend is a wanker. Need we continue?
Looks to me like someone won a bet with their friend about being able to slip the N-word into this thread.
i can’t be the only one who sees this
What do I think about the conversation? That your friend has more discerning taste in music than you.
Not the sort of conversation I would ever feel comfortable with.
I feel bad that someone gets labeled with a description like that.
Time to grow up methinks.
Maybe it’s the words from some rap song?
I just realized that I read your conversation wrong, and that my answer makes no sense. I think your friend is racist, and should be avoided. That has nothing to do with their taste in music.
ok, now can you translate all that into English please?
What does “they’re dope” mean? Dopeheads? Or is it a type of music?
And is “bad brains” the name of a band?
Also, calling niggers “black” is not very politically correct towards the KKK. :P
“Black fools”? How does anyone in Bad Brains come off as a fool to you, adri027? I call shenanigans on both of you silly people, if this convo was real. And if you are trying to be transgressive by posting a fake conversation, I suggest you find more constructive uses of your time than trying to find ways to use the N-word in public.
@Jack79 – Bad Brains is a punk/reggae band of very long standing from Washington, DC. The members are black. Also, “Dope” = cool.
@aprilsimnel oh my lord how did you know I was trying to post a fake conversation just to say NIGGER.
Really? Come on I preffer the word fools over guys. The only reason I even posted this is beause I can give two shits if people are racist but when it comes to music that definitely shouldn’t be part of it some of the best music is by African-Americans sheesh
I said “if.”
And because this is the anonymous internet, where I have seen plenty of instances of racial trolling. How is anyone supposed to know you prefer “fools” over “guys” ? “Fool” is a loaded word when you’re only reading it. And you know already knew your friend was wrong; you didn’t need to come to an internet forum to find out what people thought about what he said.
@adri027 you could give two shits if people are racist? Pretty unfortunate view considering the horrors perpetrated at the hands of all racism be it white on black, black on white, black on black etc. A very unfortunate.
@adri027 Consider me confused. You ask whether we think your friend saying “I hate n…” was wrong, but now you reveal you don’t care if people are racist? If you don’t care, why did this conversation warrant further discussion on Fluther (i.e. why did it need to be repeated here)? Considering your second statement, I would have imagined you would have just shrugged it off, in which case. you have as much of a problem as your “friend”.
Seems the bottom line then is that your friend doesn’t like the same music you like and expressed it in vulgar terms. I don’t see a question here then.
Oh adri027, I think your just digging yourself in deeper.
Where’s our supposed moderator when we need them?
Wherever or however you came up with your conversation piece I still hold the view that it could be construed as deeply offensive to many people,
Suggest you put your brain in gear before your next conversation piece hit’s the screen.
Sending you good vibes, I think you need them…
