The nephew of the peregrine falcon who is the High Tali Sky Imam of the Associated Planets of the Valkyrie. He has been sent to the Pope to negotiate an agreement. He secretly seeks to make his name by crippling or destroying the Cat Pope so he can assure his rights of succession over the Sky Imam’s only child, a daughter. What he doesn’t know is that he has been set up by his uncle, who wants his daughter to succeed him, even though she is a pacifist. “Blood is stronger than ideology,” is a favorite saying of his.

This is not appreciated by his most important advisers who are very aggressive, as befits the nature of falcons. The cat pope is aware of this, of course, because the advisory group has sent a secret agent to the Pope to talk to him. A cute 5 year old girl who is nonetheless evil. And every time she sees Space Pope Cat, she wants to squeeze it like Charmin, especially in front of beings for whom he needs to appear to be authoritative. It’s too bad he’s so snuggy wuggy, right?

@cak – When they are separated, they come up with these over the top ways to try to off each other. But they always end up having showdowns that are never resolved; she has evil plans that mean she needs to rid herself of Space Pope Cat, but she can’t, because he’s sooo snuggy wuggy. And he needs to shut her down to save the universe, but the purring kicks in the moment she skritches his belly. I’m giggling just thinking about it.

@daloon HOLY CRAP that’s really in depth! Ok, lemme try to flesh out the Pope Cat’s story a big for everyone. The Pope Cat is a newly appointed Pope, a title that he wasn’t too happy about getting. He’s been in line for succession for a long time, as far back as he can remember, he was always sheltered because of this. He thirsts for adventure. (I’m not quite sure why the last Pope died yet…)

Shortly after he is appointed Pope, PC sneaks away, trying to clear his head for all the responsibility that has been bestowed upon him. He comes across a crashed ship in the woods behind the Space Vatican, his curiosity gets the better of him and he goes inside. Here he finds a little blue pig unconsious, he wakes him up (story is getting a little fuzzy… this pig is Rocket Pig who becomes his sidekick throughout the adventure)

The Space Pope finds something else on the ship… a box. The Rocket Pig tries to warn him, but it’s too late, he opens the box and suddenly he unleashes the Grue back into the worlds. These are ancient creatures that possess anything it comes in contact with. While not evil by nature, the Grue seek to inhabit everything in the universe.

So Space Pope and Rocket Pig leave the Space Vatican to go fix his mistake of unleashing this galactic horror into the Worlds.

That’s all I really got… I just need someone pulling the strings…
