Elderly Woman in a Small Town….great song! I’m a Pearl Jam fanatic!

From Bob Dylan’s 114th Dream:
“I decided to flick a coin, like either heads or TAILS
To see if I should be going back to the ship or back to JAIL
...
It came up TAILS, it rhymed with SAILS, so I went back to the SHIP” (!)

Mhm, I have a number of lyrics I love (and some times it’s hard to find them as I listen to a lot of lyricless music). But I guess one of the ones I love at the moment is that of ‘Fall’ by Bloom 06:
“It’s your mistakes that make you wise
you need to fall, to rise
Learn the power of compromise
So you can fall and then rise”
I also like ‘Extraordinary Way’ by Conjure one:
“On an ordinary day, The extraordinary way,
You take what I can give and you treasure it,
On an ordinary day, The extraordinary way,
You turn to me and say, I believe in this,”
This has a pretty cool idea, some nice ones there to
Sorry they aren’t just ‘a line’ as well, but it’s hard to take something out of context like this
I’ve got a bike
you can ride it if you like
its got a basket, a bell that rings
and things to make it look good.
I’d give it to you if I could,
but I borrowed it.

Deep, no?
“Oh won’t you play with My Ding-A-Ling?!”
Tell me please, who the fuck did you want me to be?
Was it something that I couldn’t see?
Never knew this would be so political
And please, I’m still wearing this miserable skin
And it’s starting to tear from within
But it’s obvious that doesn’t bother you, so please
If I cut off this nose from my face
Then I wouldn’t feel so out of place
But it still wouldn’t be quite enough for you, so please
Love these lines.. Aaron lewis is a god!
OUT LAW PETE

He was born a little baby on the Appalachian Trail
At six months old he’d done three months in jail
Here at the bank in his diapers and his little bare baby feet
All he said was “Folks, my name is Outlaw Pete.”
I’m Outlaw Pete!
I’m Outjaw Pete!
Can you hear me?
