Hillary better hope Oprah doesn’t get the urge to run. Snoop Dogg for Secretary of Agriculture.
Haha I was actually thinking Oprah when I saw the question in the newborns…good answer hossman.
I think it’s important to remember this isn’t a new thing. A lot of previous presidents were actors turned politician.(can’t remember off the top of my head which ones, but I’m sure if you hit google you’ll find something)
If I had to make a real guess, I’d probably say Robert Redford
@Perchick: Only one president has been an actor: Ronald Reagan. But there have been Congressman, Senators, and Governors who were athletes (Bill Bradley, Jim Bunning, for example) or entertainers (Jesse Ventura) or actors (Schwarzenegger, Sonny Bono). This election cycle has a football player turned Congressional hopeful, Heath Shuler.
Heath Shuler is running for office!!? Cripes. He was one AWFUL ball player. Last I heard he was a failed coach turned minister.
Ben Affleck? God help us. Anybody who can’t generate any on-screen chemistry with J-Lo, while he is having a relationship with her, must lack the emotional charisma to run for office.
I’ve heard the name George Clooney tossed about. I don’t know much about his politics, but he certainly has a look that would generate votes.
I think Michael Jackson, in a bid to jump start his career, will run for Governor of California.
He will lower the limit of what a consenting adult is to 5 years old for sexula reasons.
