Where are some cool places to live in austin for a young, recent grad?

I think almost anywhere downtown is hip for anyone. The music scene is unbeleiveable. I’ve never lived there but spent much time there. Actually had my first legal drink in Austin at the White Rabbit in 1977. Whew…

—we thought the bar was cool, but so dated for naming itself after an “old” ‘60’s tune.

My brother lived in Austin proper but moved to Lakeway recently and absolutely loves it. The drive to work each day is a little longer, but it’s a pretty drive.
