Ive been wanting to get a video game related tattoo for a while but always get stumped on something that defines gaming, i wanted to stray away from any main characters such as Mario, Sonic, Samus, Megaman or Link.
The only Mario design i really liked was Zombie Mario but then again im not a huge fan of him.

I feel like a D-Pad or some controller could do the trick.
@uberbatman that logo is amazing!
@uberbatman i have to admit that is bad ass, maybe a play on that Dpad? Gonna have to hop on Photoshop and start playing with it.
@uberbatman OMG that symbol is sweet.
Between this question and that post I’m considering the tattoo for myself.
GQ… GA… lurve2u
@uberbatman I thought that logo was cool, then I saw it came from CAD. No lurve to them (or the d-bag author).
I got a good a idea on something to do with that symbol, got some inspiration from a Salvador Dali picture.
Also found another cool symbol i might consider getting, just taking the text out and changing it around a bit.

@Nimis not religious at all, but i like the design, i dont mind crosses at all. Just a symbol to me like any other.
@Triiiple Well, not religious in the traditional sense.
More of a metaphor for how ahem dedicated you are to video games.
@Triiiple…Maybe you should get an iron lung tat…
Haha the Iron Lungs icon is pretty sweet.
How about the Mario mushroom?
Or the Mario question mark block (from the NES) – the one that you could bop coins out of.
Maybe a Mario turtle shell?
Or a video game “coin” (make sure it looks super 8-bit)
Otherwise you’re going to have to go with a controller design, which I think is pretty boring and humorless.
An Atari joystick is the ultimate symbol for gaming to me I think. Even though no current consoles have joysticks like that, it still immediately conveys gaming.
The Assassin’s Creed logo is pretty awesome.
A d-pad is the most recognizable video-game icon I can think of.
