Have you ever bought furniture online?
Do you think you got a good deal? Was the quality what you expected? Do you have any sites to recommend?

What kind of furniture are you looking to buy? Because if it’s a couch or a chair or a bed, I wouldn’t do it, but if it’s just a coffee table or a bookcase, then I would consider it. I like to try out my furniture first.
But, for coffee tables and bookcases, etc. I have had good luck with Home Decorator’s Online, they are reasonably priced and decent quality.
Actually we bought our 40’’ HDTV in eBay! We saved like $1000, but that’s the only place where we’ve bought many online things… And the TV is the biggest thing we bought as well on Internet…
I’ve actually sold a lot of furniture (case pieces, desks and occasional tables) online and have yet to have a return.
If I were you, I would research the brand at other sites before purchasing. Make sure the site you’re buying from is real: call them and see if there’s somebody there. And you should know that delivery is going to be very different than from a furniture store: you’ll probably carry everything inside yourself.
Good luck!
I have! A table from The Company Store, an easy chair from JC Penney’s online catalog, and a couple of things from Ikea. I haven’t been disappointed yet.
I’ve been very successful with several companies (Overtock, Cymax, JC Penny). Just check very carefully for damage before signing for delivery. I’ve now bought 2 beds, 1 mattress, 1 rug, a leather club chair and a leather loveseat online.
We got one of our coffee tables through amazon, and our tv came off Best Buy’s website. The coffee table did it’s job, but it was not good quality at all.
