If that’s your goal, your doing it wrong.
I’m not saying you personally, I mean anyone in general.
i think in some threads, yes. but mostly i think it’s more a case of people playing off one another, not competitiveness.
yes. and isnt that half the fun?
If you’re joking around then it’s fine.
I shoot for two-upmanship.
Of course, and that’s usually when things are at their best!
three-upmanship!
do I hear four?
Sometimes, but it is all in fun.
Five! I’ll give you five (waving program madly)
Let me answer your question with one of my own. Have you ever been in a debate (argument) where either you, or the other party stops suddenly and says, “Oh shit! You know what? You’re right.”?
i’ve got six, folks. Hot, fresh six-upmanship right here.
I truly never see it that way. I see it as a dialogue. Some discussions go better than others, but I really don’t see that competitiveness you’re referring to.
To me, Fluthering feels like…....like victory.
I love the smell of napalm, and Fluther, in the morning.
That’s not my game, but I see times where one tries to out do the other. That’s childish, I think. Just tell your opinion or story & let it go at that. The younger they are, the taller the stories seem. I’ve seen stuff here where I want to go “yeah, right!”
Dude! If you can’t hack the competition, get out of the mud pit!
Yeah..out of the mudpit for you!!
I get the last word. Always.
Super 1-up power
Are you tryin’ ta start sumtin?
I’ll just leave this here…
You just wait. When everyone stops following, I will jump in and take over.
You can’t do it yet, LOL.
